  • Just to clarify - the Rally planned for this Saturday is the Coffee Party Rally - the Stewart/Colbert Rally is October 30th.. The press has not covered the Coffee Party Rally nearly as much as the Tea Party - seems strange for a press that has such a liberal bent.

  • Obama shut down the replacement program for the shuttle because there was no credible way it could be funded. Congress was funding it at levels that would never make it viable and there was no chance the funding required would ever be allocated.

  • A number of you are missing the point - it is unenforceable.... Citizens don't have to carry paperwork proving they are citizens. If the police follow the law they will have to question everyone they stop regarding their citizenship (to do otherwise would be racial profiling)...

  • There are instances where the left has created cult like infrastructures which rival theocracies. What we need is a leadership based on impartial facts - not a complete lack of leadership. Our civilization is so complex that we can't really think it is possible to isolate one another from society.

  • I would submit that the horrific crimes committed by the communist where not attributable to atheism, but a cult of personality not unlike many modern religions. Having a system of government where your leader is infallible is not an atheistic principle.
